    Narrative
    Mr. Gardner is a native to Shreveport, Louisiana. After serving as Law Clerk to Chief Judge H.W. Ayres of the Louisiana Court of Appeal, Second Circuit, 1960-1970, he has practiced law with the firm of Lunn, Irion, Salley, Carlisle & Gardner from then to the present. He has been affiliated since 1983 with The Arc United States; since 1995 as Chairman, Legal Advocacy & Human Rights Sub-committee; Past President (1990-1992); The Arc Caddo-Bossier, Past President; The Arc Louisiana Past President (1983-1985) and Honorary Life Board Member (2009); Louisiana State Planning Council for Developmental Disabilities (1979-1982); Louisiana Housing Authority for Handicapped, Past President; East Shreveport Rotary Club President (1985-1986)(2011-2012); The Arc U.S. Franklin Smith Award for Distinguished Service (2006) and the Louisiana Bar Association Crystal Gavel Award (2003).
