Walter S. Salley
Mr. Salley, is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas from 1983 to 1987 and earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration – Finance. While in undergraduate school, he served as an Intern for United States Senator J. Bennett Johnston in 1986. He then attended Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Herbert law Center in Baton rouge, Louisiana from 1987 to 1990. In 1990, he was admitted and licensed to practice law in the State of Louisiana by the Louisiana Supreme Court. He has spoken at many workers’ compensation seminars for several companies, including Lorman Business Center, National Business Institute, LSBA, General Motors corporation, and State Farm insurance Company. He joined the firm as an associate in 1990 and became a member of the firm in 1996. Mr. Salley and his wife, Kristi, were married in 1993 and have three children. He has been active outside the practice of law by volunteering his time to his church and serving as a volunteer “coach” from 1994 through the present date. Mr. Salley’s practice focuses on litigation matters primarily in the field of Louisiana Workers’ Compensation.
